Julien Ferraro seems to be solved the scheduling problem..

Julien Ferraro has informed me that he has solved the scheduling problem by changing line 65 of ConstUnit as ExecutedItem : integer = -1;. I revised "ConstUnit" and tested revised FIBS this morning. I am glad to say that no problem has occured.
Release 2.0.1 will be ready to download as soon as possible.

After 15 maintenance betas, FIBS 1.1.0 has seemed to be a major version more than a sub-version as it's already called. So, I've decided to distribute it as Version 2.0.0.

FIBS 1.1.0 Beta-13 Released..

The 13th Beta release of version 1.1.0 is ready for download. With this release:

-Tasks which includes space char(s) in its name, couldn't been executed in previous 1.1 releases; Fixed.
-Help file locating error after restarting fibs (as a application) by autorun is fixed.

FIBS 1.0.11 Released..

FIBS 1.1.0 Beta-11 and FIBS 1.1.0 Beta-11W are Released...

All known problems of previous release have been fixed.

To comply with weekly scheduling needs, FIBS 1.1.0 Beta-11W has been relased. If you don't need to backup your databases everyday but on definite day(s) of the weeks, every Monday for example, you have to use Beta-11W.
Surely FIBS 1.1.0 Beta-11M is going to be ready to download in next week for monthly backup needs.

FIBS 1.1.0 Beta-10 Released

Beta-10 is OK for using as desktop application and/or service application. But if FIBS is being used as a service, and if it's being runned on a customised Windows as decimal separator and/or date-time formats, the starter user must beware of not closing their session before stopping FibsBackupService.

BUG REPORT !!

David Reid has reported that all FIBS versions cannot create backup for backup files greater than some 100MB's in size.
The problem is clearly defined and it's planned to deploy the fixed release in the next week.

FIBS 1.1.0 Beta-6 is ready for testing.

Unfortunately I had forgotten to fix, in Beta-5, the well-known source of error of Windows that system tray doesn't exists when Windows services starts.
I have fixed all bugs and compile the last Beta of version 1.1.0.

FIBS 1.1.0 Beta-5 can run a Windows service..

Some emails I have received after deploying 1.1.0 Beta-1 says that they have been waiting for FIBS which can be runned as a Windows service not a scheduler which has service-like features. Although I had planned to comply with their request by one of letter version, I had some free time last week and complied FIBS 1.1.0 Beta-5, the new beta version which can be runned as a service.

Here are main differences respect to the last stable version, FIBS 1.0.5

-License is changed to pure FREEWARE.
-FIBS can be run as a desktop application or a service application.
-FIBS can be used to backup local or remote databases.
-FIBS can automatically start wheneven Windows starts. (Auto Run)
-Tasks can be activated automatically whenever FIBS starts. (Silent Start and Auto Task Activation)
-FIBS can be closed without confirmation. (Smooth Shutdown)
-Backup file naming counter can be stop if it is wanted a fixed backup file name.

Here are the differences respect to the previous beta version, FIBS 1.1.0 Beta-4;

-License is changed to pure FREEWARE.
-FIBS can be run as a desktop application or a service application.
-Auto Task Activation and Silent Start options are defined as natively and removed corresponding controls -Backup file naming counter can be stop if it is wanted a fixed backup file name.

FIBS 1.1.0 Beta-4 Released.

spanclass="style8">I received two bug reports yesterday, for Beta-3. One of them was related with "Auto Task Activation" bug from Mr.Gokmen Kimirti and the other one was related with exit routine, "weakness of exit routine" from Mr.Jeff Haefner. So, I've complied Beta-4 to fix them.

FIBS 1.1.0 Beta-3 Released.

This release seems to be stable as production releases.The revision notes of this release given below.

- Added validity control routine for configuration file.

- "Positioning on the primary monitor" Improved .

FIBS 1.0.5 Released

5th maintenance release of FIBS 1.0 is ready to download. I'm noticed that version 1.0.4 can create backup file for compressed task as expected even if task name includes space chars, but it cannot create uncompressed backups if task name includes spaces. Surely It would be better to fix it as soon as possible.
Tray Icon's "Show FIBS" routine also improved with this release.
